🌳 Upgrades to Family Tree UX

  • Goodbye side panels, hello unified profiles! With our newly streamlined interface, it’s now easier to edit and review relatives on desktop. Simply click on a person’s profile photo to pop open quick actions to add new information, view tagged photos, and review Record Matches.
Ergonomically, this design change helps your eyes and mouse stay focused on the person you’re editing… instead of darting back and forth to the side panel we originally had!
  • Quick add relatives. With our new interface, it’s easier to add a new relationship to a person in your tree. Just click on their profile photo, then select the plus sign (+) to add a parent, spouse, sibling, or child.

  • Edit and remove relationships. Entered wrong information by mistake? Open the person’s profile and go to the Family tab. You can now use the 3-dot settings to revise any of their relationships.

  • Zoom and pan photos. Now you can examine large images in closer detail on mobile and desktop!

  • Compare information of existing and new relatives side-by-side. When reviewing Record Matches from RecordFinder™ that suggest new relatives to add to your tree, you can now view the details of existing relatives in your tree for reference.

  • Various bug fixes and performance optimizations including an issue where the same record would be recommended to multiple siblings in a tree.
